Catholic Radio’s fall Business Breakfast will be held at the Thornblade Club in Greer on Wednesday, November 11th at 7AM. In addition to a full breakfast buffet, this Veteran’s Day event features Fr. Hayden Vavarek, an Air Force chaplain, as the speaker. He will discuss Catholics keeping their faith under difficult circumstances and how we can apply those lessons to our daily efforts to be faithful Christians in all that we do.

Mark your calendar for this special Veterans’ Day breakfast. It begins at 7AM on Wednesday, November 11th at the Thornblade Clubhouse. Due to caterer requirements, only pre-paid reservations (Visa/Mastercard or advanced check) can be taken. The Columbiettes is a women’s organization concentrating on works of charity in the community. The Columbiettes meet at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Taylors on the second Tuesday of every month. Members must be Catholic women, 18 or older. If you are living a vocation as a married person and you believe that marriage is a sacrament that should be entered into seriously, Catholic Engaged Encounter needs your help.

Catholic Engaged Encounter conducts weekend retreats designed to meet the needs of today’s engaged couples as they prepare for marriage in the Church. Married couples are needed to give witness one or two week-ends a year. You don’t need to be a trained speaker, you only need to have the desire to enlighten couples with your experience as a married Christian couple by introducing Christian marriage concepts.
